Manhood Workshop - 4/25/26
Men’s (2nd) 4th Saturday
Men! Join other men at Mission who are committed to growth, purpose and calling out the best in one another as we pursue a vision of manhood that honors God, stirs our hearts and equips us for all the battles we face. If you’re tired of walking alone, struggling with the same old stuff or drifting through life without a clear vision of what you should be doing then don’t miss this event! We’ll be meeting the FOURTH Saturday of April (4/25/26) from 8-9:30 AM in the lobby at Mission. There’s no cost and THERE’S BREAKFAST! Parenthood Workshop - 4/28/26
If you’ve ever felt stuck or wondered if you’re really “winning” as a parent, this workshop is for you. Happening April 28th at mission from 6:30-8:00. Designed for parents of kids from birth through college, this is a space to gain clarity, encouragement, and practical next steps for every phase of parenting. Come connect with other families navigating similar seasons of life and be reminded that you’re not alone in the journey. Childcare is provided for kids up to 5th grade, so you can fully engage and invest in what matters most. See you there!

Women’s Night - 5/12/26
Get your girls together and don’t miss Women’s Night at Mission! This will be a night where we will worship together and then have the opportunity to hear and learn from an incredible panel of women more about God’s amazing design for womanhood and how to face challenges specific to women. There’s something special that happens when we show up together, center on God, glean from one another’s wisdom, and cheer each other on in community. If you are a woman between the ages of 12 and 102, you’ll want to be there! Tuesday, May 12th, 6:30pm-8PM

Help make Summer in Mission Kids incredible by volunteering at one, two, or all three of these extra fun Sundays! There’s some special programming in all kids spaces that’ll be a really fun way to serve families and invest in the youngest generation!
Step Up Sunday is on June 7, Art Day is on June 28, and Water Games Day is on July 12th, and we need some extra help to make these summer Sundays awesome!
You can choose your favorite or help out at them all! From having a bubble party with babies to art projects with preschoolers to some epic water games with 4th graders, there’s a spot for everyone to show up for kids and be a part of the team for a day!
And let’s be honest… no one has more fun in the summer than kids, so why not jump in and be a part of it?! Choose your date(s), service time(s), and get ready to be a part of the fun! Because we believe that hope for everyone means hope for every kid too!

If you are new to church, new to faith, or new to Mission, you are invited to the Start Party! Simply put, THIS IS THE PLACE TO START!
There will be free food, fun, bounce houses for the kids, a chance to meet other people and some encouragement around what’s possible for each of us when we do life with God.If you would consider yourself new in any way, this party is designed to be a place for you to start. Start meeting other great people at Mission, start making connections, start understanding what God has for you and start taking steps toward who you want to become.

Alpha Groups - Summer ‘26
Alpha is a space to explore life, faith, and meaning. No matter where you’re starting from. You don’t need to have it all figured out or even believe in God to belong here. Together, we’ll tackle some of life’s biggest questions, like: Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How do I pray? Does it even matter? And more!
Each week, we’ll gather together, watch a short video, and break into small groups for honest conversation. You can say as much or as little as you want. There’s no pressure and no judgment. Just a safe place to ask questions and explore at your own pace. Hope to see you there. Starting June 2 and running through the summer, every Tuesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Invest in the next generation by helping send a student to summer camp! Camp is a HUGE moment in the life of a student, and your generosity is going to help change a student's life forever!!
The cost for one student to attend camp is $599.
On Sunday, May 31st, we’re aiming to raise $15,000 to help send as many students to camp as possible.
For some, that may look like sponsoring a full student ($599).
For others, it may be a half scholarship ($299), or a partial gift of $100, $50, or $25.Every gift matters. Every dollar helps create an opportunity for a student to experience something that could impact their life forever.
If you’re able, we’d love for you to partner with us by making a donation and helping send students to camp this summer!

You're invited to the Mission Students UNITED night on May 30th from 6-10pm!
UNITED is a party with a purpose! We’ll have inflatables, giveaways, prizes, food, and so much more!
You DO NOT want to miss May 30th! (You never know what we have up our sleeve for UNITED!)
Students will also be led in inspirational worship by our Mission Students band, and be challenged by God's word in an engaging teaching!

Here are the details....
Students and Parents/Guardians meet at Mission Church @ 1:15 in the lobby.
Students and leaders will head over to Golf N Stuff around 1:30 to have some fun! (unlimited Go-Karts, bumper boats, and putt putt anyone?)
Parents/Guardians will have a brief meeting with Cory Cruise (Mission Students pastor) to learn about how we can partner together during these Middle School years!
Students can then be picked up at 3:15PM from Golf N Stuff!

COST: $25 for lunch, unlimited putt putt, go karts, and MORE
(Be sure your student wears closed toe shoes to be able to ride the go karts! And no, crocs don't count as closed toe shoes!)
We never want finances to be a barrier to having a student attend an event so if that is a barrier, please let us know! Email students@missionventura.com or simply mark "I'd like a scholarship for this event" in the payment box down below.

VENTURA COUNTY RESCUE MISSION AND LIGHTHOUSE FOR WOMEN & CHILDREN FILL THE TRUCK CAMPAIGN!It's time for Spring cleaning AND accomplishing one of our values as a church as we offer practical help to our friends at The Ventura County Rescue Mission and The Lighthouse for Women & Children. SO, clean out your closets and bring all (yes, ALL!) of your gently used clothes and shoes to help FILL THE TRUCK(S) for VCRM on Sunday, May 17th!
Ventura County Rescue Mission provides services to the poor and homeless, offering hope to thousands of hurting people. The mission provides a full range of services to help the most vulnerable members of our community break free from poverty, homelessness, and
addiction. We could not be more thrilled to offer practical help to support the amazing work they do. -
May's Item of the Month is for our friends at The Lighthouse. Lighthouse is Ventura County Rescue Mission Alliance's outreach program assisting women and children recovering from homelessness, addiction, domestic violence and human trafficking. We are collecting paper plates, plastic silverware & paper cups for those that are at the Lighthouse emergency shelter and transitional living.

GRIEFPIC
Grief & Loss Support Group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 4:30-5:30 pm at Mission Church in Ventura, 5353 Walker St. If you've experienced any type of grief or loss this group will help equip you with healthy coping mechanisms by teaching and helping you navigate the grieving process.Dr. Paul Lenderman leads this group and incorporates sharing and open Q and A. There is no pressure to talk so feel free to simply listen. No matter your type of loss, this group is loving and supportive.
