Groups at mission exist to help people connect relationally and grow spiritually.

We believe that circles > rows, and groups at Mission are designed to help people live life in circles. Groups meet throughout the week in different leaders’ homes throughout Ventura County. They get to know each other, eat together, and discuss life and God in a safe environment.

THIS FALL at mission, find your people at starting point.

Following Jesus is a life-long journey, and it's never done alone. If you’re looking to make friends and connect with, care for, and encourage others, then Starting Point is the best way to do that this fall at Mission. You’ll form relationships, encourage and challenge each other, and talk about what it looks like to continue doing that after Starting Point ends.

Starting Point is an 8-week gathering where your questions about God turn into a conversation about faith. In a Starting Point group, you can discuss your doubts and explore the trickiest topics of faith, free from pressure and judgment.

Starting Point exists to be a safe place to grow, learn, connect, and ask questions and explore faith, Christianity and Jesus.

Starting Point is for people who are brand-new to Christianity, are processing things having been away from church for a while, have questions or doubts about faith and spirituality, or want to solidify their faith foundations.

THE CHURCH SHOULD BE THE SAFEST PLACE TO HAVE HARD CONVERSATIONS ABOUT FAITH.

Seekers and skeptics should have permission to show up and speak up.
