Welcome to Church at Home! Follow through the instructions, videos, and activities below to create a Mission Kids church experience right in your living room!! We are so glad you’re here!

YOU’RE INVITED!!

Mission Kids is taking over the auditorium for an extra special, in-person Easter Experience for Kindergarten through 5th Graders on Easter Sunday during all 3 Mission Church services! It’ll have worship, science, games, and lots of fun all pointing us to the true story of Jesus! Don’t miss it!

WHAT YOU DO

1. Watch the video! Sing and dance along to the worship songs, watch the Bible story, and connect the big idea to real life!

2. Talk about each of the questions to keep the conversation going

3. Do the activity together to have some fun and reinforce the big idea!

Talk It Through Together

Question of the day! (all ages!)

• Go around the room and ask the question: “Would you rather go bungee jumping or skydiving?”

Questions for 1st-3rd Graders

1. Read Psalm 118:28, “You are my God, and I will give thanks to you; you are my God; I will extol you.”

2. How does King David describe God in this verse?

3. The people were shouting “Hosanna!” What does that mean? (“Save us!”)

4. How did the people want Jesus to save them? (They thought Jesus would help them form their own government)

5. How was Jesus actually going to save people? (Dying on the cross and saving them from their sins.)

Questions for 4th-5th Graders

1. Read Psalm 118:28, “You are my God, and I will give thanks to you; you are my God; I will extol you.”

2. How does King David describe God in this verse?

3. Jesus rode in on a donkey instead of entering in a grand way. What does that tell you about the kind of person that Jesus is?

4. How do you think you are included in God’s plans?

5. What is one thing you can do this week as part of God’s plans?

3. DO IT // ACTIVITY

“I Am Included” Palm Branch

Materials: Green paper, scissors

Trace your hands on the green paper 5 times and cut them out! On each hand write your answer to one of these questions: “Because you are included in God’s plans…”

1. How can you praise Him with your talents?

2. How can you praise Him with your words?

3. How can you praise Him with your actions?

4. How can you praise Him at home?

5. How can you praise Him during school?

After you write your answers, glue your “palm leaves” to the popsicle stick! Keep the palm branch as a reminder of the ways YOU are included in God’s big plans because of Jesus.
