Watch the video! Sing and dance along to the worship songs, watch the Bible story, and connect the big idea to real life!
Talk about each of the questions to keep the conversation going
Do the activity together to have some fun and reinforce the big idea!
Talk It Through Together
Question of the day! (all ages!)
Go around the room and ask the question: “What are your top 3 favorite movies?”
Story Questions:
Why did Israel have judges? (Judges reminded people that God was in charge, and gave the people messages from God.)
What message from God did Deborah tell Barak? (Deborah told Barak that God would help him defeat the commander Sisera!)
What was different about Deborah as a leader? (She was a woman, and back in those days people didn’t give women a fair chance to be leaders!)
What is a leader?
What are some ways that you can be a leader?
DO IT // activity
In the spaces on the banner (grab from your Church Kit or view/print below), write positive words that describe you!
Then, in the large rectangle on the banner, write ways that you can use those qualities to lead!
Tape the banner on the dowel rod (or a pencil!) and put up your banner somewhere you can see it and be reminded that YOU are a leader wherever you are!

Continue the conversation all week by talking about how we can find hope in Jesus!
