• Why is this kind of rejoicing something that keeps us safe?

• There’s a major contrast between “putting confidence in the flesh”/”false circumcision” and “glorying in Jesus”/”true circumcision”.  How can a person tell the difference?  Why might suffering make this difference more apparent?
